Wednesday lunch special is Tiger Noodles. They are delicious. I will definitely be back to try the other specials.

I haven't been here in YEARS and I miss this gem! From atmosphere to food to service. It's amazing!! Drink: I had the jalapeño margarita and it's fabulous. I love the salt they use. Food: shrimp spring rolls- Very unique way they do this and I love the twist they put on it. Gives it a unique flavor. If you like spring rolls but need to switch the flavor up a bit, give these a shot. Tom kha (coconut soup)- very flavorful. I can't say enough good things about this one. They nailed it across the board. I can't wait to come again on my next visit to Dallas

One of my partner and I's favorite fusion chains! Malai offers a modern fusion between Thai and Vietnamese cuisine, offering a new unique approach. 4/5 Food! We've been here a couple times now and enjoyed the food every time! The free sticky rice with the tame sauce is one of our personal favorites to get our palate started. - The Tom Kha (Coconut Soup) was very good! We personally thought the peeled chicken selection wasnt the best but the broth was still great - Pad Kee Mow was great - Crab Dip was interesting! A curry crab dip was a unique take but I enjoyed it! 4/5 Service, Great waitress, 10 minute wait at peak dinner service 4/5 Ambiance! Dim but enough lighting to see, sets the mood well. This location is set in West Village so the surrounding area is very beautiful. All in all 4/5, would recommend

I had an amazing experience here. I got the Lemmon grass beef and the rice was perfectly cooked. The steak was tender and not chewy- perfect! I also recommend the Vietnamese coffee. The service was great. Our waitress was very attentive and it is a great place to relax after shopping in the West village. Parking is free. There is some street parking and garages available!

I went into Malai Kitchen for Sunday Brunch and it did not disappoint! It is definitely a popular spot in Uptown but I don't think people typically go for Brunch - but they should definitely start! The asian influences in the brunch menu are delicious and you still have access to the full regular menu. I got the shrimp pad thai and it was delicious - I would highly recommend! The service was prompt and the waitress was very polite in answering questions. One of the individuals I went with had some dietary restrictions and the staff was patient and thorough in answering all questions and even came back to reconfirm if certain ingredients were alright! The location is in a great spot! It is right in the heart of West Village, so the indoor/ outdoor seating gave great options depending on what everyone's preference was. The decor was lovely as well! I will definitely be coming back!

Stopped by after shopping in the area during a frigidly cold President's day weekend. Attentive & friendly service. Ordered the chicken congee & a side of crispy roti to dip into some curry sauce. Generous portions; the roti was nice & warm & the flavorful congee was very comforting . Super yummy & hit the spot!

Thai curry has always been one of my favorite types so I was super excited to try jungle curry at Malai. They had many different types of Thai and Vietnamese dishes from noodles to soups and whole fried fish. On weekends they even have Asian style brunch dishes! The shrimp jungle curry (kaeng pa) was different because it is prepared without coconut milk. It definitely brought out the flavor of the curry and was pretty good but I personally prefer the creaminess of curry with milk in it. The flavor was pretty spicy and the veggies were good nonetheless! The pad kee mow had a nice smokiness to it and the noodles still had a nice chewiness to it. I also enjoyed the assortment of veggies and it had lots of tender beef in it as well. I requested 3/5 spice which was around 75% spicy for me. The shrimp lemongrass soup had a tangy, sour flavor to it and was spicier than expected. If you like Tom yum style soups, you will enjoy it. It came with some rice noodles in it as well. They had us try some rice wrapped in a leaf - the rice was slightly hard but the sauce on the side was very good! The peach ginger iced green tea is good if you like a more mild flavored drink and Thai tea is always good to pair with spicy food! They had lots of seating indoors and outdoors --the patio was great for a mild evening out. Service was excellent and the server was super nice. It's also located in a nice area with lots of boutiques and restaurants to walk around and sightsee.

Drunken Noodles, Chicken Pad Thai The drunken Noodles were phenomenal as always, but the chicken pad thai kinda fell flat unfortunately. Still a great meal!!
